GREEN FINANCING FRAMEWORK
Realty Income has developed a Green Financing Framework, under which we can raise capital to issue a number of sustainability focused financial products to support the financing and refinancing of activities related to our environmental impact. The aim of this program is to reduce the environmental footprint of the organization, decrease the carbon footprint of the portfolio and increase the sustainability performance of the company. The second party opinion (SPO) provider, DNV, has reviewed the Green Financing Framework and certified its alignment with ICMA’s Green Bond Principles 2021.
Green Bond Allocation Report
Realty Income utilized the net proceeds from the Green Bonds issued in 2021 to invest in eligible green projects in accordance with its Green Financing Framework with an intention of reducing the environmental footprint within the organization, reducing the carbon footprint, and increasing the sustainability performance of the portfolio.
