What I Do

As the person in charge of human resources and operations, I assist in sourcing, testing and staffing new employees, I manage all employee benefits, and I oversee the operations of our facility. My department helps ensure that we have the people we need to fulfill our "monthly dividend company" mission and that we all have the tools and surroundings we need to do our jobs well.

Background

I joined Realty Income in 1997 and served as the Human Resources and Operations Manager until I was promoted to Associate Vice President in 2008. Prior to joining the Company, I served as a human resources manager and worked in operations and purchasing for two other local companies where I learned a lot about the operations and human resource needs of companies with a smaller pool of employees.

Before I joined Realty Income, I worked towards and obtained my Human Resources Certificate. Currently, I am a member of the Society of Human Resource Management. I graduated from California State University at Long Beach and earned a Bachelor’s degree in liberal studies.

On a personal note I am the youngest of 14 children, which was great training for being "easy going" and learning how to play well with others!

Other Interests

I enjoy spending time with family and have two teenage children. I particularly enjoy watching my daughter play team and high school soccer.
