What I Do

As the VP of Corporate Communications and Investor Relations, I'm responsible for our media relationships, marketing materials, and all aspects of communicating information about our company. I'm also responsible for the relationships we have with our shareholders and the financial community.

Background

Before I joined Realty Income, about 15 years ago, I worked for an advertising and public relations firm in San Diego for about five years. While there I was responsible for managing several large corporate accounts as well as for writing copy for annual reports and other marketing materials.

Another career that's been helpful to my Realty Income responsibilities was as a Series 7 Registered Investment Advisor for PaineWebber (now UBS), during the early 1980s, where I provided professional investment advice to individual investors.

I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and Marketing from Pepperdine University.

What Motivates Me

I love my position at Realty Income because I often get to meet and talk with our shareholders. This helps me to stay focused on why we do what we do every day. I've also had a hand in helping to build the Monthly Dividend Company^® brand, over the years, and I'm very proud of what we have accomplished. The most important thought that supports me every day is to always keep an open mind so that I can do my job well, support my staff and pay attention to what our shareholders need to hear from us.
