What I Do

As an Associate Vice President and Accounting Manager in our finance and accounting department, I assist with and manage various areas of the company’s financial reporting. I also assist with the creation of required Securities and Exchange Commission documents and work with investor relations and our corporate secretary on certain corporate governance matters.

Background

I joined Realty Income in 2006 and served as an Accounting Manager prior to becoming an Associate Vice President in 2008. Before joining Realty Income, I worked in various accounting positions for a number of San Diego firms where I gained experience working with internal and external auditors and in navigating the compliance requirements resulting from the Sarbanes-Oxley legislation. I also developed familiarity with the accounting issues associated with a real estate company. I feel my most important contribution to Realty Income is to help ensure that our financial reporting meets the needs of management, our board of directors and the requirements and deadlines of the Securities and Exchange Commission and the NYSE.

I graduated from the University of San Diego with a Bachelor of Accountancy degree and a Minor in Mathematics.

I am an avid Padre fan. I also enjoy trips to Disneyland with my family.
