Portfolio Management Department
As the Executive Vice President in charge of the Portfolio Management department, my primary responsibility is generation of revenue from our real estate portfolio. I oversee the lease renewals, property sales and releasing, monitoring the real estate portfolio performance, lease compliance and getting the rent to the bank for paying the dividend. Another important role for me is as a member of our Investment Committee, which reviews and approves all of our property investments.
I have been with Realty Income since 1990, or for more than 20 years. Prior to my current position as Executive Vice President of Portfolio Management, I was in charge of real estate acquisitions for Realty Income. The in-depth knowledge acquired from both the property acquisition process and portfolio management has been invaluable to me in making underwriting and acquisition decisions as a member of our Investment Committee. Prior to joining Realty Income, I was involved in the acquisition and sale of land and commercial real estate as a general partner for various real estate limited partnerships. I was also a leasing and sales specialist for Grubb & Ellis Commercial Real Estate. These experiences provided me with a continuous and growing understanding of the commercial real estate industry and an appreciation for the importance of solid underwriting as fundamental to managing a large real estate portfolio. I am an alumnus of San Diego State University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
