What I Do

As the head of our Finance and Accounting departments, I'm responsible for all financial reporting aspects of our company. Members of my staff also oversee Realty Income's budgets, accounts payable processes, receivables and cash management on behalf of the company.

Background

I joined Realty Income in 1986 and served in a variety of accounting positions prior to becoming Vice President, Controller in 1998. Prior to working at Realty Income, I was a loan officer for a thrift company, a mortgage broker, and a casino auditor for a brief period of time. I feel my most important contribution to Realty Income is to ensure that our financial reporting meets the needs of management, our Board of Directors and the requirements and deadlines of the Securities and Exchange Commission and the NYSE.

I graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and I'm also accredited as a Certified Management Accountant.

Other Interests

I'm a trainer and active volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America and have been involved with this organization for a number of years, along with my son who is now in college. I'm also a certified scuba diver, an activity I don't get to do nearly as much as I'd like.
