Leasing & Dispositions - Eastern Region

What I Do

As a portfolio management vice president, I lead a portfolio management team in analyzing our Eastern region real estate. Our activities involve analyzing property lease and/or sale scenarios in order to make ongoing real estate ownership decisions that reflect Realty Income's strategic objective of maximizing cash flow and return on investment. The decisions we make in this area are critical to our ability to maintain high occupancy and stable lease revenue to support the payment of monthly dividends to our shareholders.

Background

I joined Realty Income in 2001 and served as Director and then Associate Vice President of Portfolio Management prior to being promoted to Vice President in 2009. Before working at Realty Income, I was a real estate development project manager, a commercial real estate transaction coordinator and a paralegal for a law firm. All of these positions provided me with an excellent diverse background and solid experience that has contributed to my understanding of what's required to make important asset disposition management decisions and work in a team environment.

I graduated from the University of California San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts degree Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and I received a Masters of Business Administration from San Diego State University.

Other Interests

I own four quarter horses and am actively involved in several equestrian activities. I also enjoy gardening, studying political history and traveling to South America and Europe.

Favorite Activities: Trail riding, polo and cattle ranch work

Thoughts I live by:

  • "Always take the ethical high road in life, regardless of the behavior of the other person."
  • "If you get to thinking you're a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else's dog around."
  • "If you're riding ahead of the herd, take a look back every now and then to make sure it's still there."
