What I Do

As a Vice President of Portfolio Management, I head a team that oversees our real estate assets located in 25 states. Our activities include analyzing property lease and/or sale scenarios to make ongoing real estate ownership decisions that reflect Realty Income's strategic objective of maximizing cash flow and return on investment. The decisions we make in this area are critical to our ability to maintain a portfolio of properties with high occupancy that delivers stable lease revenue to support the payment of monthly dividends to our shareholders.

Background

I joined Realty Income in 2001 and served as an Associate Vice President of Research until transitioning to the Portfolio Management department as a Director in 2005. I was promoted to my current position of Vice President in 2007. Prior to joining Realty Income, I was a financial and real estate consultant for KPMG and Arthur Andersen, a commercial lending officer at Bank of America, and a bond trader for a fixed income securities group. This diverse background and experience contributes to my understanding of what's required to make important asset management decisions, and taught the importance of fostering business relationships, setting priorities, mentorship and teamwork.

I graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Finance.
