Vice President, Investments
As Vice President of Investments, Mr. Chun’s primary responsibility is to uncover new investment opportunities. In this capacity, he works with investment banks and members of the brokerage community to explore potential portfolio-level and entity-level transactions. He also works with real estate developers, advisors, and corporate real estate officers to identify and evaluate various acquisition prospects.
Mr. Chun joined Realty Income in May 2014 as Associate Vice President, Portfolio Acquisitions and was promoted to his current role in December 2015. Prior to joining Realty Income, he spent over six years in New York. He worked in real estate investment banking at Morgan Stanley and UBS Investment Bank, assisting in the execution of real estate capital markets and advisory transactions worth over $10 billion. Mr. Chun also served as a Research Associate at OppenheimerFunds, covering REITs, financials, and consumer stocks for mutual funds in the Value Equity team with assets under management of more than $12 billion. In addition, his professional experience includes serving as Research Associate at AB Value Management LLC, researching special situation opportunities with a focus on operating company and real estate valuations for its hedge fund.
Mr. Chun received a Bachelor of Science degree in Management with concentrations in Finance and Economics from Boston College, and a Masters in Business Administration from Yale University.
