Vice President, Portfolio Management

Elizabeth CateAs a Portfolio Management Vice President, Ms. Cate leads a team in analyzing the company’s Eastern region real estate.  Team activities include strategic review of property lease and sale scenarios in order to achieve real estate ownership decisions that reflect Realty Income’s objective of maximizing cash flow and return on investment.  The decisions made in this area are critical to maintaining high occupancy and stable lease revenue to support the payment of monthly dividends to shareholders.

Background
Ms. Cate joined Realty Income in 2001 and served as Director, and then Associate Vice President of Portfolio Management, prior to being promoted to Vice President in 2009.  Before working at Realty Income, she was a real estate development project manager, a commercial real estate transaction coordinator, and a paralegal for a law firm. All of these positions provided Ms. Cate with an excellent diverse background and solid experience that has contributed to her understanding of what is required to make important asset disposition management decisions and work in a team environment.

Ms. Cate graduated from the University of California San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts degree Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and she received a Masters of Business Administration from San Diego State University.
